BALLIN 4 GOD AT FIRST ARENA ON SEPTEMBER 11TH

Ballin 4 God, a charity basketball game between the ABA's New York Red Riders and the Elmira Media All-Stars, will take place on Saturday, Sept. 11 at 7:00 p.m. at First Arena.

FIRST ARENA TO HOST THE DUELING PIANOS

First Arena will host the Dueling Pianos in a night of comedy, sing-along, and dancing on Saturday, September 18 from 8-11 p.m. The event is presented by the Crew at A.S.U., Appliance Services Unlimited, and Salsaritas.

First Arena will host the "Twin Tiers' Largest Indoor Yard Sale" on Saturday, July 17 from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

JOB FAIR, STROBELFEST AT FIRST ARENA THIS WEEK

First Arena continues its busy spring with two events this week. The 2nd Annual First Arena Job Fair presented by Sitel will be at First Arena on Thursday, June 10 while Strobelfest rings in the weekend on Friday, June 11 at First Arena.

AT LAST, ELMIRA COLLEGE GRADUATES INSIDE FIRST ARENA

For the last nine years, Elmira College has planned to utilize First Arena for its commencement ceremony in the event of the worst possible graduation scenario: rain. Showers finally appeared in the tenth year, so Elmira College held a successful graduation ceremony inside First Arena on Sunday.

CORNING COMMUNITY COLLEGE COMPLETES COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY

Corning Community College held its graduation at First Arena on Friday night, beginning the commencement season at First Arena.

FIRST ARENA ANNOUNCES 2ND ANNUAL JOB FAIR PRESENTED BY SITEL

First Arena announced on Wednesday that it will be hosting the 2nd Annual First Arena Job Fair presented by Sitel on Thursday, June 10 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

STROBELFEST FULL OF MUSIC, GOOD WILL

On Friday, June 11 at 6 p.m., the public is invited to attend "Strobelfest" at First Arena, an evening of music and good will celebrating the recovery of Lauren Strobel from severe complications upon birth back in April. Leading off Strobelfest is Pat Comstock, followed by Kilrush, Buster Crab, Tongue & Groove, and Wendy Owens & Renegade.

FIRST ARENA OPENS ITS DOORS THIS WEEKEND

First Arena will host two concerts this coming weekend, with The Crew at A.S.U., Appliance Services Unlimited, presenting the Beatles Revolution on Friday and Cole & Burd Automotive presenting Aaron Tippin with opening act Wendy Owens & Renegade on Saturday. Both concerts begin at 7:00 p.m.

Country music performer Aaron Tippin makes his way to First Arena on Saturday, May 22, 2010 for a 7:00 p.m. performance presented by Cole & Burd Automotive. Opening for Tippin will be local area country band Wendy Owens and Renegade.

BEATLES TRIBUTE CONCERT COMING TO FIRST ARENA

First Arena announced on Monday that The Beatles Revolution will be performing on Friday, May 21 at 7:00 p.m., giving music fans in the area an opportunity to see one of the world's most popular Beatles tribute bands.

EMERGENCY LIQUIDATION SALE AT FIRST ARENA THIS WEEKEND

First Arena will host an Emergency Liquidation Sale on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, May 7-9. The sale begins on Friday from 3 p.m. - 9 p.m., continues on Saturday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m., and wraps up on Sunday from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.

ROYAL HANNEFORD SHRINE CIRCUS TICKETS ON SALE

The Royal Hanneford Shrine Circus is coming to First Arena in Elmira, N.Y. on May 4, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. Proceeds from the event will benefit of Kalurah Shrine Activities.
